European Space Agency’s ‘Wake Up Rosetta!’ Video Competition

Complete contest rules and information are available on the European Space Agency’s website. Links are below. In 2014, the European Space Agency’s Rosetta spacecraft will chase down, and land, on a speeding comet that is racing toward the sun. Before the spacecraft can do this, it has to wake-up its computers from hibernation on January 20, 2014.

The European Space Agency has begun the “Wake Up Rosetta” video competition, so get your camera and record a short video of a fun and creative way to wake up the Rosetta spacecraft. ESA will invite two of the top ten participants to ESA’s Mission Operations Centre in Darmstadt, Germany, for the landing of Rosetta’s Philae probe in November 2014.

There are two ways to enter your video: 1: Upload your video to YouTube, then paste its URL to the Rosetta mission’s facebook page - 2: Upload your video to Vine or Instagram using #WakeUpRosetta. For official rules visit: Time is running out. Videos are due no later than January 20, 2014.

Enter your videos now and you could be a part of space exploration history. Rosetta is a European Space Agency mission with contributions from NASA.
